God's call on my life was fulfilled when I was called to be the principal of Riverbend Christian Academy in June, 2004. This has been a dream that was 14 years in the making. Jennifer is the school administrative assistant. She is married and has 2 daughters Jennifer will also be teaching Art to the Learning Center students and preparing those students for Student Convention competition in the spring. She has been at the school for 5 years and is an active member of Riverbend Baptist Church.
Ms. Shannon teaches in our K2 class. She has been at Riverbend for 5 years and is an active member at Joshua Baptist Church. Ms. Shannon has been in preschool child care for over 10 years.
Mrs. Debbie is our K2 teacher. She is married and has 3 grown children. Mrs. Debbie is an active member of Riverbend Baptist Church and has taught at Riverbend for 3 years and several years prior to coming to Riverbend.
Mrs. Mary is beginning her first year at Riverbend. She has previously worked in our after school program and in Head Start programs. She is married, has 2 grown children and is an active member of Joshua Baptist Church.
Ms. Katie is teaching in K3. She has been at Riverbend for 3 years and has taught both preschool and elementary classes. She also teaches dance and is an active member of Riverbend Baptist Church.
Miss Jackie teaches K4 and has been at Riverbend for 4 years. She enjoys playing with her class and also teaches dance. She is an active member of Riverbend Baptist Church.
Hello, my name is Albertha S. Jones. I have been employed here as a Pre-K teacher at RCA since August 1995. I have enjoyed nurturing and molding the children that I came in contact with. Those years that I have spent in Pre-K are years that I will always treasure. This year, with prayer and Spiritual guidance, I will be teaching the K-4 program. I am married, My husband is currently serving in the U.S.Army at Ft. Stewart, GA. I have four children and also I have four grandchildren. I am a Christian, I attend Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church, which I am very dedicated, loyal and very active.
Miss Ranson teaches our K5 class. This is her first year at Riverbend but she has several years prior teaching experience. She is an active member in her church and also performs with a Stomp team.
Mrs. Whitfield has been a teacher at RCA for over 20 years. She is married to the pastor of FCCC and has 2 daughters.
This is Mrs. Chisolm fourth year teaching at RCA. She has previous experience as a teacher at a private day care and has also worked in the medical industry. She has been a wonderful addition to our Riverbend staff. Mrs. Chisolm has moved to 2nd grade this year to enhance our academic position in that grade.
Mrs. Hotte is the lead supervisor in our Learning Centers. She teaches in Learning Center 1 (3rd - 7th grade). She is married and has one daughter, a son-in-law and 3 granddogs. She is an active member of Crossroad Community Church and has over 20 years teaching experience.
Mr. Odom is the supervisor for our high school Learning Center. He is married and has a 10th grade daughter. This is his first year at Riverbend but he has taught previously at another Christian school. He is an active member in his church and teaches middle school boys Sunday School class.
Ms. Thornley is beginning her first year at Riverbend. She comes to us from another Christian school. She is the mother of 2 children.
